vital tissue Tissue is the cellular organizational level and is the mediator between cells and whole organisms.[1][2][3] Tissue is an integrated group of similar cells of the same origin that carry a specific function. Organs consist of a functional group of tissues.

The study of tissues is known as (histologic), and when related to diseases, it is called histopathology or pathological anatomy.

Classic tools for the study of histology are paraffin block-embedding and then cutting tissues-tissue stains and light microscopy. In the past two decades electron microscopy and immunofluorescence have been developed, and frozen tissue pieces have also been used that have enhanced the details associated with tissue structure. Using these tools classic manifestations in tissues can be tested or examined in health and disease and have the potential to improve clinical medical diagnoses.

animal tissues[عدل]

Animal tissues can be classified into: connective, muscular, nervous and epithelial tissues. Tissues of various types represent the organs and structures of the body. Whereas all animals can be considered to contain all four of these tissues. The appearance of these tissues can vary depending on the type of organ. For example, the origin or source of cells consists of a special tissue that may differ in growth in different types of animals.

The epithelial tissue in all animals is derived from the ectoderm and endoderm with a minor contribution from the mesoderm thus forming the epithelial tissue. A special type of epithelial tissue that makes up blood vessels. In contrast, true epithelium is present in a single layer of cells linked together by a junction called the tight junction to create a facultative permeable barrier. This tissue covers all surfaces in contact with the environment such as the skin and the digestive tract. This tissue functions for absorption, secretion and protection and is also separated from other tissues by the basal lamina.

Connective tissue[عدل]

Connective tissues are fibrous tissues, made up of cells called the extracellular matrix. Connective tissue gives shape to the organ and holds them in the same place. Blood and bone are examples of connective tissue. It also supports and connects tissues to each other. In contrast to epithelial tissue, connective tissue usually has cells spread out outside the matrix.

muscle tissue[عدل]

Muscle cells that are able to contract are known as muscle tissue. The functions of muscle tissue are to produce force and to cause movement. Either by moving or moving within the internal organs. Muscle tissue is separated into three distinct classes: smooth muscle, which is found in the inner linings of organs, and skeletal muscle, which is attached to bone and provides movement. The cardiac muscles that are found in the heart. Which allows it to contract and pump blood to all parts of the organism

nervous tissue[عدل]

The cells that make up the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system are classified into neuronal tissues. In the central nervous system, the nervous tissue consists of the brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system consists of the cranial nerves and the spinal nerves, including the motor nerves.

epithelial tissue[عدل]

Epithelial tissue consists of cells that cover the surface of an organ such as the surface of the skin, bronchial tubes, reproductive tract, and the inner lining of the digestive tract. Cells consist of a semi-permeable layer connected by tight junctions, thus this tissue provides a barrier between the external environment and the organ it covers. In addition to the protective function, the epithelium can be dedicated to the function of secretion and absorption. The epithelial tissue helps protect the body from microbes and microorganisms and from injury and fluid loss.

Epithelial functions[عدل]

Its cells make up the outermost layer of the skin.

They form the lining of the mouth and alimentary canal and protect these organs.

Helps absorb water and nutrients.

Help eliminate waste product.
