Muthanna terms[عدل]

For a noun to be duplicated, the following is required:

• To be singular, the two and the plural do not commend.

• To be Arabized, built names are not commendable.

• It must be singular in terms of pronunciation and meaning, such as: two men singular of man, and two girls singular of girl.

As for their saying (two parents) to the father and the mother, and (two moons) to the sun and the moon, without agreeing with the wording and the meaning – it is a matter of giving priority, nothing more.

Deuteronomy of the restricted name[عدل]

• The plural noun is doubled with the inverting alpha (wawa) if its origin is waw, such as:

Stick: stick.

• And the alif of the maqsour (yaa) is altered if its origin is yaa, such as:

Boy: Two boys.

• And whatever is above the trio, its alpha (yaa) is always changed, such as:

Shelter: two shelters.

Deuteronomy of the elongated noun[عدل]

• The extended name is commended by keeping its hamza as it is if it is original, such as:

Bowl: two bowls.

• The one who is stretched out should be praised with the heart of his hamza wawa if it is more feminine, such as:

Hasna: okay.

• The extended one is praised by keeping his hamza as it is, or by turning it over to wawa if it is replaced by waw or yaa, such as:

Cover: two covers – two covers.

Deuteronomy of the incomplete name[عدل]

• The incomplete noun, i.e. sealed with an original, unstressed ya’. If the ya’ is omitted, the ya’ is returned to it when denoted, such as:

Judge: two judges.

noteYaa is omitted from the imperfect noun if it is a nominative noun in the nominative and prepositional cases, because the noun is a suffix and the yaa is a consonant, and to prevent the consonants from converging, the yaa is omitted.

Example:

A lawyer came – I passed a lawyer.

Omit the noun of Muthanna[عدل]

The noun is deleted from the Muthanna in the case of the addition in the noun, accusative and adverb.

Example:

• He came seeking knowledge.

• I saw the seekers of knowledge.

• I passed the seekers of knowledge.

Muthanna and its appendix[عدل]

The following nouns are appended to Muthanna:

• Two and two.

Example: The two that succeeded came.

• Both are added to the pronoun.

Example: Both parents arrived at the party.

Noticeable: If you do not add “both and both” to the pronoun and they are added to the apparent noun, then each of them expresses the inflection of the incomplete noun, then it is raised by the damma that is estimated to a thousand for excuses, and it is added by the fatha that is estimated to a thousand for excuses, and it is preceded by the kasrah estimated to a thousand for excuses.

• “Either one or both of them reach old age with you, do not say ‘F’ to them” (Al-Isra 23).
• “When death approaches one of you at the time of bequest, two of you are just men” (al-Ma’idah 106).
